Denise A. Pollicella has 26 years of private and corporate practice, focusing on corporate counseling, M&A, and regulatory compliance. Formerly VP and General Counsel for the nation’s third largest child care company, she founded Cannabis Attorneys of Michigan in 2009. Ms. Pollicella helped draft the MMFLA, co-founded two advocacy groups, and has been an outspoken advocate for the licensed cannabis industry. In addition to regularly writing, speaking, and educating, she continues to be at the forefront of state-level policy and regulation. A regular presenter for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and an inaugural member of Michigan’s Cannabis Law Section, she has lectured at University of Toledo Law School, and has been honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly and the State Bar of Michigan for her pioneering work. Ms. Pollicella is Managing Partner of Pollicella, PLLC, with offices in Howell and Troy.
