Zach Levy began his legal career as a “biglaw” finance attorney at King & Spalding LLP in New York City, focusing primarily on lender representation for large-scale real estate development projects, both locally (i.e. the New York Metropolitan area) and nationally. After gradually becoming disheartened by the billable hour-focused culture of the large firm environment, and driven by an insatiable desire to learn and pursue unique opportunities, Zach struck out on his own and joined Trevor Anderson at The Anderson Firm, P.C. Zach has broken into the cannabis space through the niche and burgeoning area of real estate finance for cannabis operators, currently representing well-known industry lenders. Zach also greatly enjoys getting involved with operators and license holders through The Anderson Firm’s consulting and operational representation side of their practice (elaborated further in Trevor Anderson’s Professional Summary).
Previously as an attorney for King & Spalding, Zach represented a wide spectrum of clientele from large, nationally-based institutional banking lenders to mid-sized, regional debt funds on a variety of matters surrounding real estate developments and financing. Typical transactions ranged in commitment amounts of $40MM – $100MM, and as high as $600MM. Now focused on the cannabis space, Zach highly encourages industry participants to explore the many unique opportunities that exist through real estate debt finance as a means to grow their businesses and reach their goals.
