Dr. Sam Sofer, PhD, PE has dedicated his professional life to improving the planet through scientific discovery. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

In his four decades of experience in applied biochemistry and biomedical engineering, Dr. Sofer has researched steroid biosynthesis at a Nobel Prize-winning lab, served as the chair of the chemical engineering department at the University of Oklahoma and was sponsored chair of biotechnology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is also the creator of biological air and water cleaners that use immobilized cell technology, as well as innovated various biomedical instruments and test protocols related to boosting the immune system to fight disease.

Sam currently continues his work as President and Chief Scientist at Air & Water Solutions Inc. and holds more than two dozen patents worldwide.
