Attorney Goodwin Aldarondo Jiménez holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico. He is a criminal defense attorney, with more than thirteen (14) years of experience in his legal practice. Since 2015 he has stood out as an international lecturer and advisor to the medical cannabis industry in Puerto Rico.

Aldarondo has over thirty certifications related to the cannabis industry and more than one hundred hours of continuing legal education on the subject. He is the only lawyer in Puerto Rico with this type of preparation and the only one in the Caribbean with the Cannabis Sommelier certifications from Colorado, USA and the Cannabis Sommelier certification from Canada. He has traveled to places such as Holland, Colorado, California, Canada, Alaska, Washington, and New York, where he has been able to compare different models of the cannabis industry.

Since 2015 Aldarondo provides educational, legal and compliance services to the medical cannabis industry in the island under the organization Puerto Rico Legal Marijuana, being the founder and CEO.
